Property Details

Downstairs:

Open plan sitting room with a large open fireplace with log burner. Sofas and comfy chairs. At the far side there is a dinning area and lovely long window seat. Also electric radiators.

The kitchen is well equipped with most modern appliances (washing machine, dishwasher, fan cooker, ceramic hobs, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, microwave, food processor, stereo system) to a high standard (e.g. Denby crockery).

Adjoining the kitchen is a breakfast area that looks down the garden through the French windows. There is also a multi-fuel log burner for cooler times.

Bathroom includes wc, washandbasin, bath with shower over, two large windows, electric hot water tank, electric fan heater. Refurbished in 2003.

Stereo and video+DVD player (supply of videos and DVDs)

There are many toys, games and books at the house for use indoors and out.

Upstairs:

Upstairs comprises of three double bedrooms leading off a central landing overlooking the main fireplace (i.e. the bedrooms don't lead off one another).
  • Double bedroom: double bed, wardrobe, drawers, bedside tables, chairs, mirror, electric oil filled radiator, wash hand basin (new 2007), two windows.

  • Double bedroom: double bed, wardrobe, drawers, bedside tables, chairs, mirror, electric convection heaters, window.

  • Twin bedroom: two single beds, wardrobe with drawers, bedside tables, oil filled radiator, window.

  • Loo and wash hand basin (new 2007).

Caretaking services

A local, English speaking caretaker will meet you at the house and explain how things work.

The house is cleaned between visits but guests are requested to leave the house clean and tidy.

Linen

A linen hire service is available otherwise guests need to bring their own sheets and towels. There is a charge for this.

We welcome small families and have numerous items available for use during your stay including:

Telephone

Accepts incoming calls and local outgoing and emergency calls. Phone cards can be purchased for long distances calls.
